They have Chinese medicinal cures for everything or Ayurvedic, whatever your philosophy of choice. Most of them fall into diet pills or otherwise. But some have come to the conclusion that it also applies to acne. I can see it if they were to use green tea, green tea is high in antioxidants and some have used it. But they usually don’t publicize that as the “Chinese” acne treatment.
The Chinese believe apparently that the human blood has a temperature and toxins that cause acne in part. Apparently some have forgotten about the fact that the western world has come to the conclusion that toxins cause acne, and most who use that concept don’t actually publicize it as a “Chinese” cure, because that’s not needed among other things. If they do use it, it’s a marketing ploy.
For the most part, they don’t actually have ways to quickly detoxify the system. It’s more of dietary changes such as eating low fat or non fat dairy products only, staying away from processed foods, staying away from omega-6 fatty acids specifically, etc. Logically speaking, these foods tend to be low in bad fats that contribute to acne, high in fiber, high in vitamins and minerals, and otherwise high in elements that we do know would balance out the body and lower some incidences of acne. So it is really a revolution? I think not.
