Lemon juice is quite literally the simplest treatment you can use for acne. You can either buy lemons or they have those little lemon shaped bottles at your grocery store of pure lemon juice, usually deemed for cooking purposes. But frankly, it can of course be used quite easily for other purposes, and really why not? Lemons can already be found in every home.
Don’t buy lemonade. It is often packed with sugars and preservatives among other things that won’t help your skin and could possibly hurt it. But real lemon juice is packed instead with vitamins and minerals. You will find very little lemon juice in lemonades. But real lemon juice also has the virtue of antioxidants. Antioxidants naturally kill off bacteria and free radicals, not to mention the fact that lemon juice for various reasons works as a powerful antiseptic anyway. It has an anti bleaching effect on the skin surprisingly enough, and it can lighten acne scars and blemishes while obviously getting rid of zits.
You just have to have a light bit, and even a small bottle can last you for a while when this is placed in the fridge or otherwise. But it will help you, and then you can simply wash it off after 10 minutes. Obviously, don’t really get it in the eyes. But otherwise, you are good to go.
